DOES WALKING 20,000 steps a day at any speed help me lose bellyfat?
Im wondering bc I’m a really active kid Im 20 years old and play alot of bball at the park,go for a long walk each day, and a bunch of smaller walks throughout the day ie dog,maybe at the mall and then I try to jump rope without a rope in my room at night while watching tv in little 1 minute rounds. I’m 5′10 184 lbs so Im not fat or anything, I just would like to have my six pack I had in high school back, so now that I’ve gotten this pedometer for christmas I’ve been getting between 20-25K steps a day which I know is alot but alot of it is casual walking on the way to class and stuff does this still help me lose bellyfat???

20 000 steps a day is a great amount if you can fit that much walking into your day, but in order for you to get your six pack back, try some more intense aerobic exercises, like indoor cycling (great for working your core), jogging, swimming, etc. One thing that REALLY helps is going to the gym, pushing weights, and using the rowing machine. Rowing works so many muscles in your body (legs, back, core, arms, chest, etc) and will make you lose fat faster than most other aerobic and anaerobic exercises. The thing is that you have to have proper technique so that you get the most out of it, and so that you don’t pull any muscle or your back.

Other than that, sit ups, push ups, the plank, etc, are other exercises you can do that work.

Walking 20 000 steps a day can make you fatigued, but it is perfectly healthy. Your comment on "moderation" makes sense for other aspects of life, but not for exercise (unless you have a serious health condition). Exercise only becomes harmful if you are doing four and a half hour long triathlons, or you are physically injuring yourself.

Out of a solid, liquid and gas (basically the phase changes) which has the highest melting point?
I’m doing this packet for chemistry, and we have three pictures. One has molecules closely together representing a solid, another with molecules semi-close together but roaming representing a liquid and a final one with molecules free floating representing a gas. The question says, which substance most likely possesses the highest melting point? I don’t understand how you can tell just by knowing each thing is a solid, liquid or gas. How do you know!?!? What’s the answer

I don’t know what science teacher is thinking, gases don’t melt. Melting is a phase change from solid to liquid. Gases don’t melt back to liquids. The melting point of oxygen gas for example is extremely low -270 degrees celsius (never happens on planet earth). The coldest thing I know of is liquid nitrogen (-196 oC and a liquid at that temp, a gas normally).
