Rogue (2007)

Rogue DPS problems(WoW)?
Hi I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my DPS up and nothing works. My guild told me that I needed to get it up there with the other rogues so I respecced mut I have the two axes from Toc25 man…But I seem to do a tad bit more with mut but it still doesnt help…at the beggining of most fights I have 3 or 4 on the DMG meter and then it works its way down to 10 or 11 on the DMG meter I use Insant-Deadly and the rotation

It looks like you’re still under the hit cap — that should be the first thing to focus on. Attacks that miss won’t help your dps.

This helped allot. I was overlooking hit rating enchants and gemming! Also, how much DPS are you doing? My DPS still sucks though. Oh well. I usually make sire to have snd and rupture up for the whole fight, then use excess pts in env and evs..but im far from hit capped now. I think that will help allot. i usually do about 3k dps in a boss fight and average about 2k for an entire instance. if you dont have a dps meter get recount, it works well. then experiment on a dummy. i hope this helps!

Incredible’s sports car; next, the scene where James Bond intrudes into goldfinger’s headquarter at night, looks a lot like the scene where Mr. Incredible intrudes Syndrome’s headquarter… Could it be that The Incredibles is sort of, partially based on 007’s Goldfinger?

1. I’ve come to understand human nature more clearly. Seeing them as biological creatures with quite sadistic tendencies. Living in a world surrounded by merciless sadists, can make a guy pretty depressed.

2. There are some historical periods, people, and ideas that I greatly admire but all ultimately gave way to something new, which I didn’t like as much. So it seemed like the "bad guys" always win. But I grew more sophisticated and saw that the new comes out of the old and doesn’t just drop from the sky. So the world we live in today, is the sum total of all the "good times", in history fulfilling their natural development. True freedom means understanding the laws of the world and making decisions based on that understanding.

3.Therefore I realized that as a man living in 2010 USA, my "duty" was to pursue what a young man is "supposed to" desire. Sex, drugs and rock. In that sense PUA is a kind of duty for me.

4. Despite point 2 and 3, point 1 still has a powerful influence over me, and I’m not sure its been totally refuted which is why its hard for me to fully commit to PUA.

I’m conflicted between a more sophisticated notion of freedom on the one hand, (which is the freedom to build airplanes understanding the law of gravity, as opposed to the freedom to jump from a skyscraper to defy the law of gravity), and pessimism over the meaning of existence on the other hand. The pessimism was partly caused by empirical observations about today’s culture, combined with a powerful dose of pessimistic philosophy.

Pessimistic philosophy has had a very concrete affect on my personal life, it led me to quit my job and drop out of college, move out of my parents house for a few months because of that, I had 2 female roommates I was very friendly and humorous with at first but then stopped talking to them all together because of my pessimism and then moved back in with my parents this week.

I guess in order for my problem to make sense, I ought to be more explicit on what I mean by pessimism, and I’ll try to use as little name-dropping or philosophical concepts as possible. And just speak from the gut.

Below is a fairly concise summary of the deep metaphysical pessimism I feel.

The few flickers of light in which I’m teased with what man COULD have been, ah that is just bitter mocking. It is acidic and burns my eyes. Biology what a curse that word is. The Creationists do no hate Darwin enough, they do not realize what a stake he drives through the heart of their benign creator. To reconicliate God with Darwin is to see us in the hands of a psychopath all-powerful sadist.

Existence is a curse! The Garden of Eden is the nonexistence of life before the Big Bang, Heaven the Kingdom of God, is the perfect harmony of the lifeless empty cold universe after the Heat Death. Yes if but the project of the Grand Inquisitor could be carried out. Long live Satan! Long Live Mephistopheles! The spirit that negates, all existence ought to be destroyed. Yes dread spirit remove all free will from the world, and give us stupid childish happiness. What a weak, ill-conceived, parody is man. There is more beauty in a spider or earthworm. Misshapen and misproportion, hideous and foul and rank. Indescribable stench. A gentle feeling, reasoning soul as mine, thrown into a den with lions! If I only felt and did not reason, perhaps I could deluded myself with Heaven or Karma. If I only reasoned and did not feel, I would fit in personally as a hedonbot pleasure maximizing machine. Ah to be cursed with both feeling and reason! I have no empathy? No, I have the empathy that crushes the soul. Well, better I did not have empathy or sympathy. Yes man suffers greatly, at his own hands! If Nature wished me to feel sympathy for man, She ought not have made him such a perfect devil. What do I care about devils tormenting demons? all is just in that sense. What would I care if somewhere far-off in the distant galaxy there was a planet of wolves, where flesh were torn off limbs by monsters?

Advocate for Spanish Speaking Student in CT?
I am from Connecticut. Recently, a new 2nd grader who only spoke english came to a local elementary school. The principle had known about it for months. However, it seems as if the principle forgot about the student or did not care.
The principle did not set up a bilingual aide to help, or a bilingual teacher. The child came into school so frightened and crying (he is from another country). How in the hell is this child suppose to learn? His father and mother are fluent in English and explained that he is very smart. I feel as this will stunt his developmental process of learning because the Principle did not do anything.

I feel like this situation is so wrong. Should the principle had set up anything?
There was even a volunteer working that spoke english and offered to help the student. When the principle found out, the volunteer was taken out of the classroom because "volunteers are not paid to do that" and a 5th grader who speaks Spanish was brought into the classroom for the day and pretty much stayed with the kid through lunch,recces, ect. That seems wrong too! Dragging a child out of their classroom to become an aide for the day? Why does a th grader have this responisiblity?!

I feel like something is wrong here! I want to do something. Is it possible to advocate for this child? I do not work at the school, but I know many people who do.

Enough is enough already…I don't think I can keep living my life this way…I am drained.?
I serious think my marriage of 4 years is nearing the end. I no longer feel connected to my spouse. Our lines of communication are decaying and we can’t ever seem to talk to one another without it turning into an argument. Neither one of us is innocent. A marriage can’t fail due to the actions of one spouse. I have been withdrawing from my spouse for the past year and can’t seem to find the spark that brought us together. I am having a difficult time remembering the good times, since we have lately been having more bad times. Old unresolved arguments have left us both full of resentment toward one another. I have suggested for years that we talk to a counselor to learn how to communicate to one another, but my spouse always advised against it. However, last month, she suggested that we seriously work on our marriage and start putting it first. We both are active duty military with a child. Needless to say, we are often very busy. We have neglected to find time with one another…and I am predominantly the one to blame. But I must say that I started to withdraw because my wife and I never could really establish a true sexual intimacy together. I talked to my wife on several occasions to try to increase our sexual intimacy, but she would always get upset. I would also become upset. I was not happy with always being the initiator of sexual intimacy between us. My wife would show very little interest in having sex. I recently read an article below regarding the hazards or a sexless marriage:

Withholding sex is about control. It’s a passive/aggressive way of expressing anger. Someone who withholds sex will imply by their actions that they have a lot to give. They are, by all outward indication sincere in their love for their spouse. They hook you in with sincerity and then they cut you off.

They feel in control if they have the upper hand sexually. You are put in the position of being the one who initiates sex. Your spouse doesn’t have to do anything in the relationship except show up. All the work needed to develop and maintain a sexual bond is up to you. They don’t have to take responsibility for any problems in the marriage, and if the marriage ends they can point a finger at you for being the problem.

Sexual rejection, especially by someone who vowed to "love, honor and cleave unto" you is devastating. It leaves you feeling unattractive and undesirable. You may internalize her rejection and blame yourself by thinking you are not attractive enough; sexy enough, thin enough, smart enough. Her actions will give root to unhealthy beliefs about yourself and your value as a person. There is the danger of depression, loss of hope, you may feel old before your time and there is certainly a sense of shame. Shame over the fact that your own spouse does not desire you. This shame keeps you from sharing your problems with someone else. You find yourself with no support system and the growing belief that there is something terribly wrong with you.

The lack of sexual intimacy between my wife and I caused me to become resentful. I started to withdraw from her emotionally and physically. I started to become focused on not providing her with the things that she desired as well. Such as cuddling, holding hands, etc. Over time, this behavior did not help the relationship. Like I mentioned before, neither one of us focused on putting the marriage first. However, we did and still do kind and considerate things for one another. I recently bought my wife a car that she always wanted, despite it being to small for our family. (Volkswagen Beetle) In addition, prior to the Beetle, we compromised and got a Chrysler PT Cruiser…the compromise was because she wanted a Beetle, but the baby was on the way, and there was no way we were going to be able to function comfortably with a beetle as our only vehicle. So we own two very gay cars..lol. And I take crap from my fellow soldiers everyday for driving them. HAHA. Anyways, she takes great care of me as well. She always tries to get me things…such as water…or my shoes…etc. I really don’t encourage this because it makes me feel like a male controlling doucebag. But she does it to express her love. However, I still feel like the lack of sexual intimacy between us has caused our marriage to slowly errode. We have started to see a counselor, but during our initial session, the therapist suggested to see us one on one. Now the counselor wants to treat my wife for depression before we can start working on the marriage. I completely agree that my wife needs to be healthy before we can start to work on long term resolutions to our problems. Depression is a very serious illness and needs to be treated effectively. I just don’t think our marriage will last until her depression is completely treated. The counselor suggested that she start taking medications to assist her with her depressed state…and estimated that my wife might be off the meds in approximately 9 months and our ma

Again form the perspective a person who has done some marriage counseling - I think this marriage is salvageable. You need to be talking to a counselor even while your wife is getting treated for depression.

I tried Windows Defender, AVIRA, but I can't get rid of Spyware Protect 2009!! Please Help!?
I scanned my computer with Windows Defender and Luke Firewalker and it doesn’t detect Spyware Protect 2009…I don’t know how to get rid of it…Each time I turn on my computer, Luke Firewalker alerts me there’s a virus (Trojan) and I delete it, but then Spyware Protect is still there. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Thanks.
Malwarebytes did not work for me. It just keeps finding more infected files and even when it says it removes them, Spyware Protect is still there! And then I run another scan, and there’s more and it’s just this neverending cycle. I’m getting frustrated here. Can someone please tell me something that actually works? Something they have seen work and not just something they read about online….
